I have to recreate my character because i didn't play for along time, so now when i choose a handle i waited for 2 days and still no yes or no to the name. So i was wondering when you make a new character it takes longer then normal?

It takes the same amount of time as when someone is first creating an account I would assume, whenever someone gets to it.

Your account has another name attached to your IP. So it requires an asim to look as opposed to other accounts.

People have lives.

Or..... Your IP is shared by another member of the combine. Which is the case.

Regular join team cannot handle those, only ASims can. So that is why it is taking you longer.

Pity that so many people attempt to cheat that we need to check all IP matches cause of it.
