So as I understand it we have 1 week to start production on all existing DC's before they are lost. The we can try to recover/be refunded for them IC. How are we supposed to even know what DC's we have available left in the various production facilities when the DC link goes to a 404 error?

Same problem here.
Hopefully it gets extended a week after the problem is fixed :)

I can0t view assigned DCs because 'I don't the the require privs' even though i own the factories. I even got the privs for the KD inventory and have the same problem.

Result - hell knows what DCs we have, no production for us I guess.....any chance of mkaing this 3 weeks instead of one week and fixing the bug before the end of the week? Also, maybe letting us assign Dcs to factories as well - because some groups like to use dcs before assigning more..so I'm sitting on top of 30 factories without being able to produce what I want...

Grevendar Togl: There are no more assigning because people would start huge ships prior to the 7 day deadline. Get refunds or "credit" towards new datacards, otherwise it sounds like you are SOL.

For everyone else, it's sort of your fault for not recording your DCs. My faction uses a production spreadsheet to track all this fun stuff so I know what is where. Unless Selatos plans on a hotfix, you are SOL too.

“No, DCs would only be lost if the owning faction dissolved, as before. If they wanted to join with someone and gave up the DC then it would be lost in that case as well.

Edit: I guess "no" is relative. Maha and I agree even though one says no and the other says yes.)

At what point did anyone say access to view assigned DC would be trashed? Or that assigned DCs would be lost without a faction dissolving?

For those that have Cybot Galactica droid DCs in their factories i have sent you a DM.

Sel is aware of this issue and is working on a fix. I'd guess that he'll probably consider an extension under the circumstances but we'll see.

Tal, things happen - things break. You don't plan to fail, you fail to plan. Just because it wasn't supposed to happen, doesn't mean it WOULD NEVER happen.
