Archives » Loading class-A cargo containers on a BFF
Hi,

I seem unable to find a statement of whether these can be loaded on a ship (a BFF-1 being my current case) with a simple tractor beam without the ship having a docking port. The text suggests they are 'supposed' to go in that ship, but I thought I'd ask first before spending a week in hyper only to discover the opposite.

Thanks for any info any of you can give me on this!

Iven

Cargo containers are treated like ships. So yes, you do need a docking bay on the ship you are loading them into to be able to move them.

While Bulks are essentially 4 Class-A containers strapped to a sublight and hyper drive, this is not the reality of the current game mechanics. See more here.

Thanks for the info source, that clears it up!
