My question is this.

I started production with shipyards; can i leave my faction while the production is going on ? will that stop the production or that wont do a thing ?

because i want to go work with another faction while my ships are being produced.

pretty sure if you assign the facility to another faction member who is staying in there, it will just carry on as normal, ask the faction leader if it is ok to assign to them. Most don't mind at all. (not makeover, just assign)

But it also matters who owns the facility/shipyard... so... you need to check that out too. If it is yours it will be different to if it belongs to the faction that you are leaving.... I think.

Once you leave the faction, the production process automatically defaults to an active player (assuming there is an active player in the faction). If you were not the operator, production defaults to the operator. If you were the operator, production defaults to the faction leader.

The production will continue automatically as long as the default person is active. Whomever of those two inherited the production process will get the XP once production finishes.
