What am I missing?

Gaderffii equipped as 2ndary not used despite being in range vs the X45 equipped as primary

- Optimum Range: 1

- Maximum Hits: 2

Electrostaff is also of no consequence (read: not used) when droids attack (as members of a hostile bandit group) a squad with a duty to "Guard"





Looks like you're most likely missing the red box on the rules page (and also your attacks):

"Melee weapons (non-projectile weapons and lightsabers) CANNOT hit a target unless they are at Range 0 (the same location), regardless of optimum range and drop-off properties!"

If you're asking why your melee weapons aren't being used at range 2, it's because melee weapons have a hard-coded maximum range 0 despite showing optimal ranges on the rule pages.
