Does having a pre-existing depot station or asteroid hideout in an asteroid field affect the possibility of finding a habitable planetoid within that field?

Thanks Cedron..

If I might piggyback on this thread with some other asteroid-planet questions:

1.) Will a developed Deep Space Asteroid prevent bandit spawns in the asteroid field?
2.) Will developed Deep Space Asteroids be included in calculations for sector control?

Will a developed Deep Space Asteroid prevent bandit spawns in the asteroid field?

No.
"The presence of a habitable planet, or the fact that a deep space system shows as being controlled by any faction, does not affect the spawn chance of bandits."

2) Will developed Deep Space Asteroids be included in calculations for sector control?

No.
"Governance of asteroid field planets follow the standard rules of governments, as well as system control and calculations, with a few exceptions:

- Asteroid field planets do not count toward the territory requirements to form a Government-type faction.
- Asteroid field planets do not contribute to sector control."
