Recently I bought a barrack ((ID# 228794) Type: Barracks; Owner: Johnny Moon)
, I thought that it would make some income as well.
But to my surprise, it didn't.
I read the rules and indeed this is correct.

I would like to ask that the barracks will make some income same as training academies, chapels, musea, civic centers, hospitals, workers compound, landing pads, casino's, starports and docks.

I think this will be an accidental omission.

Why should Barracks make income? They're used to house soldiers and their equipment, there is no logical reason why they should produce income by doing that ...

Barracks allow you to hire more types of NPC's as well as increasing morale on a planet. They are already effective as they are. So.. doubtfull they will ever be allowed to make income :P

when fac income was added to the game all facilities was discussed and it was decided that barrack should not give income due to the above listed reasons

Raiden: training academies you can hire NPC same with hospitals and civic centers and most of all workers compound. Don't see your point, more a point on my side that barracks should make an income as well !!!

No. They are not makeing Credits.
Chapels = Donations.
Civic Centers = Drink Sales
Workers Compound = Drink Sales,
Casinos = Your a moron if you cant figure this out, Star ports = Traveling NPCs,
Hospitals = People paying for Help.

This is not the Suggestions forum, and considering the Rules Team director has already turned down the suggestion that barracks make credits, there is no need to continue this. Your question has been answered, regardless of whether or not you like the answer.
