Force sensitivity is random. You'll have to be tested by someone who is currently force-sensitive and has points in the "Force Detection" skill.

You can get a starship any number of ways: You can work for a faction and pilot one of theirs, and several factions give away free starships as gifts after a certain period of time working for them. Otherwise you may try looking for traders which are selling ships in the commerce forum, Centrepoint Marketplace, or on IRC in #swc-traders or #thetraders.

It is possible to get a house on a planet. You can either construct your own (which requires space on someone's city-slab, construction privileges, credits, materials, NPC builders, etc) or you can buy one in the same manner I explained to buy a starship.
