Honoghr, Honoghr System (Te Verd Ca'narase) - This week, officials from the Mandalore Heavy Fleet released declassified information on their recent military operations in the Honoghr system. According to a briefing from Fleet Commander Be'Mando'ade Cabur Korlan Mereel, hostilities on Planet Honoghr have been suppressed and the forces responsible for the disturbance have been driven into hiding. The closing remark: "Ogir kelir cuyir ke'gyce o'r Mando tra. (There will be order in Mandalorian space.)"

Combat action reports confirm that 144 marauders have been killed in skirmishes against the mobile infantry since Year 17 Day 36, when the Heavy Fleet descended to counter large scale attacks against the Zhuk'nir urban center conducted by the raiding parties of locally established slave traders. While the mobile infantry fought to secure the population centers in the northern hemisphere, advanced recon scouts methodically swept the entire continent, cataloging numerous suspicious individuals and locating the slaver compound which is thought to have been the source of the raids. The Fleet has not suffered any losses of its own to date.

With the remaining slavers either routed into the wilderness or possibly having fled offworld, Heavy Fleet engineers have begun the long process of repairing battle damage and restoring power to the districts of the Zhuk'nir metropolitan area. In addition to their duties to the community, the Heavy Fleet has also revealed its current plan to improve the Noghri homeworlds defense network with the addition of a conventional planetary shield grid. Fleet Logistics pilots have been hard-pressed to maintain their timetables over the remote and delicate Kessel Run, in order to keep pace with the engineers installing fortifications on the ground.

The task force, now known to be expediting "Aka Chaavla Oya'karir (Operation Rough Hunt)", is presently monitoring 71 individuals which it considers to be suspected of aiding in the trafficking of Noghri. By Mandalorian Law, confining or transporting another person against their will constitutes Shuk'la Kyr'am (a Broken Death), a criminal act which deprives the captive of Mesh'la Kyr'am (a Beautiful Death). The statements from Be'Mando'ade Cabur Mereel clearly indicate that these individuals will be imprisoned once the planets shield grid is ready to be activated. "Ehn'eta tuur, nayc or'atu. (Thirty days, no more.)"

During a recent candid interview with Mandalorian ground troops on Honoghr, correspondents asked why the Heavy Fleet was not pursuing the routed slavers and placing suspects under immediate arrest. Alor'uus Anon Drekk of the Fleet scouts replied, "Nakil katarn bal gar akaanir krayt (Corner a katarn and you fight a krayt.). It is artful to provide a trapped opponent with hope."
