In a shocking turn of events following a strange distress signal, a new route to the Tynnani system has been discovered.  Five EF65 Meridian-class Frigates were spotted in orbit of the Tynnan homeworld, some of them newly claimed by rescue parties who responded to the call. Mayor Chompins McLoggers released a statement today to various reporters who turned up to cover the events.

"The people of Tynnani would like to thank everyone who responded to our calls. It was surprising to see such kindness from the Galaxy," he said surrounded by top officials and a few of the rescued souls. "The Tynnani Defense Force found themselves lacking in being able to fight off the space bandits. Those more capable than us deserve our petty offering of these old relic ships as the least we can do, for now.

"We have a special thanks for the forces of the New Republic championed by Vonar Passik, Lahasa Fy, and Arco Serle. The Exchange led by Impa Xio also gave us a hand by saving the crew of a fourth vessel before quickly claiming it for themselves. Nonetheless we are quite happy to be safe. With these heroes ready to come defend us, and others who showed they are willing, we officially disband the TDF and welcome all within our borders."

Some cheering from the crowds followed as the Mayor paused in his speech.

"Not everyone could make it back due to the brutal attacks arranged by the Lucky Twenty on Devaron, and we will remember them forever. Many are still recovering from their wounds as well. The image I am about to share is fairly graphic so children should turn away..."

"Please send any donations for their medical care directly to city hall.

"Lastly, with the disbandment of TDF, I would like to give one last thanks that seems to have gone unrecognized so far. Matt Solomon in his search for our brothers stumbled upon our home and charted the system for the rest of our friends to see. We are forever in debt and offer our last ship to him should he choose to accept it. These ships have been in our possession for a long time and the design is lost most likely forever at this point. It is possible one or two exist out there.. but the plans were lost a long time ago. Please enjoy these last remaining relics of the past."
