Rogue Squadron announces the successful defense of Bes IV against Eidolon pirate raid.

In the late hours of Day 195 Year 21, the Rogue Squadron (RS) was alerted by the local government of Bes IV of an ongoing pirate incursion. Operating with limited intelligence available, RS dispatched an Incident Response Team (IRT) directed by Grand Admiral Jake Azzameen. Their primary directive was to assess the situation and aid the Bes IV regional forces. Upon arrival, the RS IRT immediately identified multiple Eidola vessels initiating a planetary assault. Several hostile battalions had established a beachhead in the south-east quadrant of Bes IV.
Admiral Azzameen immediately requested reinforcements from Headquarters and directed his IRT to secure and activate the available planetary defenses. First contact was initiated on Day 196 Year 21. The skirmish that ensued over the next 36 hours resulted in over 3,700 casualties for the Eidola pirate organization.
With the deployment of RS Special Forces and the quick arrival of allied units, the course of conflict became apparent. Following the temporary loss of planetary control on Day 199 Year 21, RS combat engineers and brave local volunteers commenced the construction of planetary fortifications. Allied forces from the Rebel Alliance, Hyporian Commonwealth, TIEFE and the Jedi Order perpetually reinforced RS forces while the fight continued. The operational coordination of these allied forces was vital to raising and maintaining pressure in the increasingly one-sided battle against Eidola.
On Day 205 Year 21, the RS Department of Foreign Affairs issued a trade advisory related to Bes IV, announcing the complete lockdown of the planet to the Galactic Community.
On Day 206 Year 21, the pirate attack completely halted, total hostile casualties exceeding 4,000 pirates, including approximately 600 prisoners. No friendly losses were reported to date. With planetary control reestablished, RS stabilization forces now assist the local populace of Bes IV in rebuilding and improving planetary defenses.
