After numerous bugfixing attempts, Kay has finally managed to get the old B'omarr monks to part ways with their brain jars. Just travel to their monastery on Tattooine and have a little talk with them. Be brave! The achievement related to this sidequest will not activate due to a change in how the journal and achievement system will be tied together in the not so distant future, so that is not a bug.
