"Greetings Race Fans! Darek Xearz reporting to you love once again from the Kessel Run. We have a great turnout today in both competitors and onlookers. The race has seemed to attract both Rebel and Imperial attention. And they're off! It looks like most of the racers made it past the first checkpoint ok, with one of the A-wings arriving first. Telemetry from the ships hypering out to the next checkpoint showed an odd course for teh TFN Whirlwind piloted by Centauri Tyridius and Rolan DonCoin, did the hyper to thw wrong coords or do they have something special planned? It looks like most of the racers made it past the first checkpoint ok, with one of the A-wings arriving first. "Apparently some of the racers are reporting they have been locked out of their navigational computers, sabotage? New reports indicate that switching the ships computers from explorer to fire mode will allow pilots to access their navigational interface. Race authorities advice all racers to switch to fire mode immediatly!"

"The first pilots have exited hyperspace, Mecho is in the lead with Tara a close second. Larry Skywalker is the third person to enter the system!"

"Togan aboard the Nebuchadnezzar has also arrived now.

(posted by Clarr Solo):
News just in: It isnt looking good for champion winning Kessel Racers Clarr Solo and Mike Kr`upa, after a hyperspace rift meant they ended up in a system far far away from where they came. Prayers to god were said, however, giving up in dismay at their idleness, Clarr & co hypered out suffering a six hour time penalty. This puts them way behind all the other competitors who should be approximatly four whole hours ahead of them.

This is a startling blow; which puts the most-betted-on-team in a very sticky situation. Only god can save them now."

"Current standings (my best guess):

1) Green 5
2) '// Ang
