Kessel surrounded by Krath, Mandalore leader under pressure
Posted by: Frezt Raleigh, The Krath Dynasty
Date: Year 12 Day 360 Onboard the Golan II KDI Xo's Eye #1 in system Kessa (396, 72).

KDI Xoâ??s Eye #1 battlestation, Kessel Sector- The Krath Dynasty has decided to construct a large number of battle stations and refugee centres around the planet Kessel, in an effort to hinder the atrocities of the Mandalore government and muster as many refugees as possible. Yet more are still fleeing them every day.

For a long time the Mandalore government has sent political opponents and dissidents to the Kessel spice mines to silence them. Together with the thousands of slaves they are exploited and live way below galactic civil standards. Their number is increasing daily due to the rising unrest within the Mandalore nation about their leader.

After the death of Commander Vong, who was for a long time a guiding force in the Mandalore government, the number of protests against the poor lackluster leadership of DeMeer has been increasing. A prime example is Karredda, where the level of unrest was appalling. As soon as the Mando`ade clans started their invasion the population surged in support of the change in governance.

Riots broke out on other planets in the Kessel sector soon after, most notably on Kessel itself. The Mandalore government was overwhelmed and ineffective in remedying the situation. The situation on Kessel became so dire that the Mandalorian government were forced to call in help from the Aurodium Legion to enforce order.

That the Mandalore leadership is failing has become apparent, enough that it has become a serious concern to the Imperial Remnant. The Imperial Remnant tried to save face for their puppet government by putting pressure on the Mando`ade clans to sell out Karredda to the Remnant so they could restore Mandalore's governance. How long the Empire will continue to support a failing government is a question analysts are undecided about. They warn of further protests from Mandalorians and Imperials against Mandalore leadership.

The Krath Dynasty found out about the extreme conditions Mandalore keeps their residents when Karredda was liberated. Krath sent help to improve the situation on the planet in a combined effort with galactic health organizations. In order to take in the ten thousands of refugees from Kessel itself, many civilian stations have been put in place by the Krath as well. They lie beyond the battle stations and have welcomed the first refugees two days ago.

At this point in time the Krath Dynasty does not intend to govern the Kessel sector but put serious effort in the well-being of the less fortunate in the sector. If the situation continues to degrade then a humanitarian mission from other major galactic powers could be required to preserve the quality of life for these sentients, putting further pressure on what already looks an unstable government.
