The Freedom Warriors declare sovereignty on planet Droecil

A new Home and a new Hope

Today, Commander Wuma Uxal-Lumir, leader of the Freedom Warriors, has declared the sovereignty of the Freedom Warriors on planet Droecil, the system Droecil and the entire sector Boeus. In his speech that was transmitted live from the surface of the newly discovered planet, he expressed his happiness and gratitude about the great support that the Freedom Warriors got on colonizing and securing the planet Droecil. Sightly touched, the Commander said: "It is the achievement of every hard working man and woman, who devoted themselves to help building this new home for the Freedom Warriors. All our gratitude go to them."

The planet Droecil was discovered on Day 124 13:26 hours by Wing Leader Matubo Invincius. He was one of the seven scouting team members that have been scanning almost 3500 coordinates in one month time. Commander Wuma Uxal-Lumir awarded the discoverer with the Droecil Discovery Medal and proclaimed him as a Hero of the Freedom Warriors. Further, he awarded Wing Leader Matubo Invinvius and Master Chief Linjara Orly with the Freedom Knight Award, the highest award a Freedom Warrior can achieve, for their exemplary and matchless efforts on the Project Droecil and their commitment to the Freedom Warriors. Both greatly contributed to the quick progress that the Freedom Warriors made at planet Droecil.

It is an astonishing fact that the Freedom Warriors gained ownership of planet Droecil in less then two week. At this moment, more then 95% of the planet surface is under control of the Freedom Warriors. There are negotiations running with remaining foreign factions that own territories on planet Droecil. The Freedom Warriors are willing to compensate their losses, if they makeover their territory and facilities to the Freedom Warriors.
 

Master Chief Linjara Orly announced today that for security reasons, the planet will become restricted area, as soon as the shield grid has been completed. Access to foreign territory on planet Droecil cannot be granted. "Unfortunately, this is a necessary security precaution. Droecil has an exposed position that is close to the territories of the Imperial Union. We need to protect the planet and its inhabitants", the Marshal in Command stated, "of course, our allies and friends are always welcome."

It is true that the Freedom Warriors' sovereignty on planet Droecil already has been acknowledged by most factions of the Galactic Alliance and that the Freedom Warriors are greatly supported by them.

Among the first supporting factions with funding and personnel was the Rogue Squadron to which the Freedom Warriors are a close ally. A Rogue Squadron High Commander emphasized the unity and trust that both share: "When the Freedom Warriors found their home at last, of course we did offer help. And when they asked for our help, of course we did come to their aid."
 

Master of the Jedi Order Johnny Moon himself travelled to planet Droecil to coordinate the Order's support at location, and the Council member Master Onasha Katr announced today: "The Jedi Order recognizes Freedom Warriors' claim to Droecil and hopes that through continuing with its proven track record as both a fair and able bodied organization that it will become a beacon of hope and understanding both on the planet and in its surrounding stellar environment. Long has this journey been in motion and now that they have found a home I am sure that the Freedom Warriors will continue with their diligence against tyranny."

Comprehensive support was provided by the New Republic and the Falleen Federation. Both allies of the Freedom Warriors provided help with funding, personnel, ships, and raw material. High Ambassador Cheda Quche commented the support of the New Republic while he was standing on the ground of Droecil: "The Freedom Warriors are a relatively new organisation and we congratulate them on what is a milestone achievement. We are happy to have been able to assist them secure sovereignty here, and hope they will continue to show the promise a new world such as Droecil inspires." Regent Lord Rick Farlander himself was pleased to say: "The Falleen Federation has been honored to be asked to assist Freedom Warriors. This has really given us a chance to build our relations with them and hope to one day see them in the GA. Our fight for freedom to all citizens of the Galaxy is that of a similar nature."

The planet Droecil has become well acknowledged property of the Freedom Warriors. Among other factions representatives of the Krath Dynasty that were visiting the former headquarters of Freedom Warriors on Lanthrym congratulated the Freedom Warriors to the new planet.

It seems to be that a new star has risen in our Galaxy and many may ask themselves, if the Freedom Warriors are capable of leading a system and even a whole sector. This is a question the leader of the Freedom Warriors is clearly aware of and he already has provided an answer to it by saying in his speech: "Droecil is a responsibility that we gladly accept. The Freedom Warriors have risen from Order 66. We can look back to a past of experience and successful rebuilding, and we are looking forward to a future with a new home and strong allies and friends at our side."
