Alliance Special Operations becomes decadent
Posted by: Ximaro Jix, Dread
Date: Year 16 Day 33 Onboard the Quasar Fire-class Bulk Cruiser SST N`ightmare in system Malastare (78, -257).

Sources close to Alliance Special Operations (ASO) have identified several breaches of internal security resulting in the abduction of one of their top lieutenants at the hands of Defilers of the terrorist network Zann Consortium and Dread pirates.

It was not long ago that Xakic Jix and his rogue Hellions stood before the galaxy proclaiming that they would take the fight to any who opposed their legitimate way of life. Xakic’s bold statements would prove initially fruitful as the cadre of bandits suddenly turned legitimate would engage many galactic organizations including: the crumbling crime syndicate Black Sun, the superpower Galactic Empire, and later destroy the pirate crew Twin Suns, considered by many in the galaxy to be a Black Sun front. However , a fragile side of ASO soon surfaced.

An anonymous informant close to Alliance Special Operations commented, “Despite success across the galaxy in multiple areas, they [ASO] frequently fail to engage Zann Consortium. Xakic has gone crazy personally hiring Cedron Tyronel, a Sha`kage wilderness fanatic as a security consultant , along with Cait Catra a known gypsy. These individuals and their organizations together have been unable to prevent any attacks whatsoever , which has now demoralized the agents within the specialty unit. Many members of the company of mercenaries are considering returning to their previous lifestyles of crime "

On Day 28 of Year 16, the Agents of Alliance Special Operations would feel the cogency of retribution as they would discover Lieutenant Qardin “Q” Fal-Cona subdued by an imposter inside of the mercenary brigade. Agents close to the area at the time of the kidnapping stated that Qardin was teaching arrest procedures and even initially arrested his captor, unaware of whom it really was. Lieutenant Fal-Cona then released his prisoner and relinquished himself so he could become a prisoner in an exercise, only to be actually taken captive. Civilians in the area stated that despite heavy agent presence on the planet, everyone stood by and watched as Qardin was forcibly dragged onto a ship.

Intercepted intelligence later confirmed that the captor was identified by his unusual full body tattooing and based on the pragmatic approach of the kidnappings; it matched the description of a Kiffar male, named  Jarreth Darksky, largely considered to be one of Zann Consortium’s most lethal enforcers . Agents of the special operations group have continued to investigate how a known criminal often associated with acts of piracy and terrorism bypassed the background check and was able to make it as far as he had undetected.

In addition to failures of specially hired security personel and Xakic's own agents , a Dark Star Hellions gang member in custody by the name of Robert Reynolds was also simultaneously freed by Dread pirates led by Juan Vargez, a long time Zann member. This marked the second time a Hellion managed to escape the alleged secure holding facility located near the head quarters of Alliance of Special Operations on the planet of Krmar.

"The other Hellion who busted out a few weeks ago was a rabid Iktotchi, named Shane Harley. Somehow this lunatic managed to escape his cell still wearing a straitjacket and  then was able to find transport off world without any assistance. To our understanding security personel were no where to be found. It's like they opened the door for him to leave and left a ship outside the prison for him " An investigator concealing his identity explained to correspondants .
