The Bando Gora 'Liberates' Shadolan Force User
Posted by: Darin Byrch, Bando Gora
Date: Year 21 Day 122 Onboard the Veltraa-class Cruiser [BG] Cardinal Sin in system n/a (25, 152).

Champala, Chagri system—the location chosen to host the Ninth Uli Memorial Swap Meet, but also the theater of daring undertakings that have remained shrouded in secrecy until now. Today, aboard the Veltraa-class Cruiser Cardinal Sin, Darth Pristus’ personal flagship, the Bando Gora has announced the capture of First Sergeant Talyda Stewart, a Twi’lek Force user part of the Shadolan Authority. Darth Pristus stood in front of a restricted assembly of journalists invited aboard the vessel, flanked by the Kiffar Morgan Sathel, the Captain of the Silent Watchers, the Bando Gora’s intelligence division. The Dark Lord of the One Sith, also known as Darin Byrch and a native of Champala, has explained what has led to the decision to apprehend First Sergeant Stewart during the usual festivities of the Swap Meet.

“There are a number of things in this galaxy that are unforgivable. Choosing to ignore ambition and promise, refusing to nurture the future, these are unforgivable as far as I am concerned,” the leader of the Bando Gora and the One Sith said. “During the Ninth Uli-ah Gafsa Memorial Swap Meet, Bando Gora agents went to work on the liberation of a victim of such atrocities. Through careful planning by Captain Morgan Sathel and Darth Drachen, the liberation of First Sergeant Talyda Stewart from the shackles of the Shadolan Authority. With us, she will be able to grow and prosper as our guest, and soon, our follower.”

Bando Gora’s clandestine operatives have worked for weeks under the guidance of Captain Sathel, the brain behind the operation. The Kiffar took a moment to explain how difficult it was to navigate the impressive crowd of sentients gathered on Champala while remaining discreet. The desert scenario chosen for the memorial hasn’t been of help either, Sathel explained, forcing the Bando Gora’s agents to adapt and react in order to complete their mission successfully. Miss Stewart was eventually captured and taken aboard one of the Bando Gora’s starships, which is already en route to the planet Venaari, home of the One Sith.

"The liberation of Miss Stewart was of paramount importance to us," Captain Sathel stated. "Ensuring that our agents stayed undetected has been a daunting task. I am very satisfied with the overall performance and how our agents carried themselves on the ground."

The capture of Talyda Stewart will indubitably spark repercussions that have yet to be manifested and felt, but the Dark Lord and his Captain have remained stoic when asked how the Bando Gora will respond to the inevitable reaction from the Shadolan Authority and, potentially, their allies. The Shadolan Authority, led by  Empress Aylee Stewart, sister of the captured Talyda Stewart, controls seventeen planets within the Shadola Sector. The government is part of an alliance known as the Confederacy of Free Trade Worlds, along with Cantrell Conglomerate and the Gordian Reach Authority.

”The Bando Gora seeks to take those who seek power, and give them the chance for their ambition to take form among our ranks. Talyda Stewart will be given the same chances and respect any of our followers would. I hope to see her take advantage of the chance given to her," commented Darth Pristus.

"Our only concern is to ensure the prosperity of the Bando Gora," Captain Sathel added. "We believe that her permanence among the Bando Gora will be of great benefit to her and the organization alike."

The Uli Memorial Swap Meet has a history of dramatic abductions, many of which have escalated to gruesome assassinations. Not this time. Darth Pristus assured that First Sergeant Stewart would not be harmed in any way. Those within the Bando Gora have been instructed to treat Miss Stewart as a guest of honor; punishment shall be dealt upon those who dare to ignore and disrespect the will of the Dark Lord. The Twi’lek will remain a guest of the Bando Gora indefinitely, and she will have the chance to marvel and witness with her own eyes the power of the Dark Side and of the One Sith.

We will follow the developments of this situation and update our viewers as soon as possible. Live from the Chagrian homeworld of Champala, this is Zena Thalcorr, reporting for the Venaari News Service.
