(MNB) Champala, Bogden - Broadcasting from the planet of Champala: Mando'ade, hosts of The Droid Hunt, brought the event to a close, marking the conclusion of the Ninth Uli-ah Gafsa Memorial Swap Meet.
Following an arduous week of competitors stalking their prey, one hunter was able to top the leaderboard and become the first winner of the contest.

The competition pitted seventeen different contestants against one another to see who could capture the most droids over the course of one week; the style of the event being a nod to the origins of the Swap Meet's founding.
The occasion was said to be thrilling from start to finish, with regular reports of the hunters pushing themselves to their limits within the new six-hour round format thought up by the organisers in an attempt to add a further challenge to their ever-evolving hunting competitions. This new development led to some hunters being unable to finish the competition, leaving fourteen hunters to spend the rest of the week testing themselves against the dangers of the Champalan wilds and the droids they were eager to capture.
Seven days later, with numerous droid captures and a myriad of droid parts strewn throughout, the event ended with final scores requiring confirmation and anxious hunters left wondering if they had done enough to become the first champion of the event.

The closing ceremony was held a few days later and was attended by numerous sentients - including entrants that had taken part during the event as well as spectators, sponsors, and other patrons eager to see which of their favourite hunters would reign supreme.

From fourteen entrants, the number of droids captured and level of damage dealt resulted in one hunter being crowned champion, Victor O`Cuinn, who was followed closely by runners-up, Teroch Qir-zan and Gramur Krayteth, taking Second and Third place positions respectively.
Following the event's conclusion, Huntmaster Kara Vhekade reminded fans and competitors alike that the next hunting event would take place at Nimban for the Tenth Uli-ah Gafsa Memorial Swap Meet and that the Mandalorians looked forward to seeing the steely determination and broad variety of entrants they have come to expect from previous events.
