Order of the One Sith Embraces Its Destiny
Posted by: Darin Byrch, Bando Gora
Date: Year 21 Day 179 Onboard the Veltraa-class Cruiser [BG] Cardinal Sin in system Venaari (183, 198).

Ven-Kav, Capital City of Venaari—Numerous reporters from every corner of the galaxy have gathered today within the public halls of the Citadel, the notorious headquarters of the Bando Gora. Darth Pristus, the Dark Lord of the One Sith, wasted no time and announced the purpose of the new live stream. “Last year, myself and a group of Force Sensitive sentients revealed ourselves to the galaxy. We made our beliefs public; our beliefs in the Code of the Sith, publicly declaring ourselves the Order of the One Sith, a mindset of unified ambition,” Pristus explained. “Since then, we have continued to operate under an outdated and unnecessary guise. No longer will we hold onto the name Bando Gora. From this day forward, we will only be known as our true nature and name. We are the Order of the One Sith.

A shocking decision that will undoubtedly spark interest and condemnation in equal measure throughout the known galaxy. Ironically, the now defunct Bando Gora was brought back to life by Pristus himself. The Dark Lord of the One Sith, also known as Darin Byrch, was born and raised in Bogden, located in the Inner Rim, the same sector that was once terrorized by the Bando Gora. Under the guidance of Darth Pristus, the organization has moved away from its criminal and violent past, and instead embraced the Force as its primary motivator. Specifically, on Day 337 of Year 20, it was revealed to the public at large that the Bando Gora had fully adopted the Sith Code and the Rule of One.

On Day 122 of Year 21, the Bando Gora was once again the subject of talk and criticism after the brazen kidnapping of Talyda Stewart, a Force user of great potential, and the sister of Empress Aylee Stewart of the Shadolan Authority. The Shadolan Authority has since responded by carrying out surveillance operations in the planetary system of Venaari, the current seat of power of the brand new Order of the One Sith. To this day, many speculate that, in truth, Talyda Stewart might have willingly defected to seek the training and affection of her current lover, Kaze Zill, also known as Darth Drachen, who serves as Inquisitor of the One Sith.

What does the future hold for the Order of the One Sith? “We will continue to proliferate the teachings of our Dark Lord,” Dread Marshal Morgan Sathel answered. The Kiffar cyborg has come under scrutiny for her criminal past as a pirate in the Outer Rim Territories. Nowadays, Sathel leads the One Sith Armada after having her life spared by the Dark Lord during a botched raid against one of Pristus’ starfaring vessels. “The Order of the One Sith welcomes those who walk the path of the Dark Side in search of freedom and strength. There is only one unquestionable truth in this galaxy: the One Sith.

Even more fanatical was the Hapan Xyre Weltmon, the High Vizier of the Order and overseer of the One Sith Administration Authority, the legislative and industrial branch of the Order. “I feel sorry for those who don't follow the One Sith, for they are nothing more than misguided heretics. I pity them. They are blind to the truest meaning of the Sith Code and to the strength, the power and the passion it gives us to propel us forward,” the High Vizier stated. "The Sith Philosophy we all live by drives us, we are all Sith here and through the structure and strength our Code gives us, our Chains will be broken, and we will truly be free. All are welcome, all are desired and all can achieve true power and freedom with us.

The Code is what makes one a Sith. The belief in its words. Today, we break down the boundaries between Force Sensitive and not. Every single member of this Order will be recognized for their belief and contribution to the Sith way, from those who fight for our Order, to those who work to bring prosperity to our space. Freedom by any means necessary. Wonosa,” the Dark Lord of the One Sith said.

The trio will now be known as the Dark Triad, the ruling body of the Order of the One Sith. Of significant note is the fact that both Morgan Sathel and Xyre Weltmon are not blessed (or cursed?) with a connection to force. This peculiarity marks the willingness of the Order to truly welcome and recognize as Sith all those who are willing to devote themselves to the Dark Side and to the teachings of Pristus. Whether this open-midness will attract more followers to the cause of the One Sith remains to be seen. One thing seems certain: the Order of the One Sith is here to stay. Most analysts agree—despite the limited territory controlled by the organization, the high number of Force users within its ranks makes the One Sith a group not to be taken lightly. According to the latest data, the Order might indeed be the second largest assembly of force attuned sentients in the galaxy, second only to the Sith of the Galactic Empire. Intelligent gatherers also suggest that the group might command an impressive number of starships, which would explain the chosen name of One Sith Armada.

Psychopaths? Enlighted sentients? Criminals? A new power on the rise? Only time will tell, and to our viewers the final judgement. This is Davrod Grahawk, reporting live from Venaari for the Independent News Service.
