Recent news reporting the Rebel Alliance’s patrols of the Derra system fell short of truth and justice this week, as several reports of vulnerable civilians being gunned down in the streets were quietly “swept under the rug” by RA authorities. Positioning itself to be the bringers of freedom and peace for the galaxy over, the anti imperial bloc broke a number of their own regulations by attacking defenseless civilians rather than opting for detainment, as described in RA law on their holosite.
2.1. Adversaries are forbidden to operate in the Rebel Alliance's territory, are subject to arrest, and impoundment of their assets.
2.2. Arrested Adversaries will be held until they / their organization no longer pose a threat to the Rebel Alliance.
The same voices that would tell you about the heinous crimes of the Zann Consortium, appear to use the same tactics while blatantly hiding their actions behind a smokescreen of morality and law. But on Derra, the RA threw their laws to the wayside. Ximaro Jix, Crime Lord, of the Zann Consortium called it ''ritualistic murder” of those with Zann connections whether armed or not.
Even the Jedi Order murdered countless weaponless citizens. Reports show Thragg Craghorn, leader of the JO executed several sentients mercilessly in front of multiple witnesses while other Jedi including Rivian Dumat and Salgor Kressen formed kill squads executing anyone they believed had alleged criminal ties.
“Summarily executing over 200 unarmed envoys and refusing to detain them. I would say the Jedi are not only engaging in a personal vendetta but have certainly lost their ability to arrest anyone.” Said Ximaro Jix who later explained that given the evidence, which is damning, appears the Jedi are no different than their Sith rivals, with the exception the Sith do not pretend to be peaceful.
Jedi Master Thragg Craghorn declined to comment when shown a holovid and pictures of himself using his lightsaber to inflict grievous bodily harm on innocents withou remorse.
“Wookiee Zannie scum don’t count” Mador Anami, Leader of the Antarian Rangers said chuckling when asked about their assassination of an unarmed Wookiee in lieu of the ongoing Green Forest Day controversy.
Some in the Rebel Alliance believe the emergence of Blue Star Dominion colloquially known as the “Blue Star Cartel”, run by the O`Cuinn family, has corrupted the RA and its allies so deeply as to drive them to disregard their own laws, policies and standards. The Rebel Alliance says it stands against tyranny, yet commits crimes at its leisure in the name of democracy, forcibly creating the same authoritarian rule they claim the Galactic Empire would establish.
Imperial Intelligence Director Elaine von Veritrax theorizes that the massacre of various sentients associated with Jix and his crime ring is an ill fated attempt by Blue Star agitators to goad the feared rogue state into war in a system now under siege by the Galactic Alliance. Elaine went on to elaborate how the rebels' have repeatedly made failed attempts at capturing any of the notorious scum and instead bolster their influence inflicting damage on auxiliary personnel and anyone they can link to the syndicate, like in the recent Kowak conflict. “On Derra countless citizens are being decimated by overzealous troopers and pilots who shoot first and ask questions later because they lack the capability to gather evidence to pursue the actual criminals”. The Imperial Director asserted.
Reports of attacks on Crimson Dawn missionaries, overseen by Xyre Vindictus also have come in, indicating additional deaths plus their droid protection contingent, mislabeled perhaps as Zann Killbots. Despite Crimson Dawns more peaceful role in the galaxy Religious leader Xanxus Drol called the acts atrocities and a disgrace to civilization, in a recent sermon he addressed his congregation stating “The once bastion of hope and justice has now become nothing more than enforcers for another criminal organization and the embodiement of the Sith the claim to pursue.”
Hundreds of refugees have fled the Derra system with over millions more still trapped behind a blockade to combat the "alleged" brigandage that the coalition claim to be putting a stop to. With every planet on the brink of martial law some local elements have begun evading the terror imposed upon them providing smuggling operations to get sentients to safety. While others have taken arms against their "pretend" saviors in an effort to stand their ground. These actions have led to protests in various systems as a call for justice against the false heroes resposnible for the carnage.
Rebel Alliance High Command has declined to comment.
