Date: Year 0 Day 1 Onboard the L-500 Space Liner Black Star at galactic position (168, -11).
*A face not seen in many months appears on the vidscreen. Many across the galaxy know him, and remember him as the former Lord of Black Sun. He sits at a desk aboard his private yacht with an amusing smile on his face.*

Good day sentients of the galaxy. For these past few days I have been keeping tabs on the galactic news and the recent wave of thefts. And I must say, I am not surprised.

Many honest traders have turned to deception and fraud, stealing from those that once thought them trustworthy. The rest of the galaxy reacts with outrage and surprise, but I ask you this, why does this surprise you? If you recall the not so distant past, this has occured many times. The answer as to why is quite simple, they do it out of sheer boredom, and because it is easy. When the world of trade becomes monotonous to them, they seek some way to stir their small and meaningless lives.
However, I do not condone what they do. They are undeserving of any respect for their actions. This sounds like hypocrisy coming from a man who once ruled the most powerful criminal faction in the galaxy. However, I say this. If you wish to turn to crime, do so with style. What you do is easy. The youngest pup of a Gammorean can do what you do. You think of yourselves as special and elite. Yet you are nothing when it comes down to it. Crime is not to be devoid of honor or style. It is not simply a way to gain more credits and things. It is something a man turns to when he craves much more. It is a statement that you are willing to bend, and even break the rules, to gain what you want. You state that this galaxy and its huddled masses exist simply to serve you and the rest of the exceptional few. Credits, ships, and even power are simply byproducts that come with it. If you wish to turn to a life of crime, then do so with meaning and spirit. It is an artform, and should be conducted as such.

As for the Jedi, I laugh. For many long years it has been known to me that many among their number are hypocrits. They herald a code in which they do no wrong. And yet they turn and commit an act such as the Jedi Felix has done. I have read his reasonings. I cannot say that I do not agree with them. He used his reputation to accomplish a deed. However, this is where I call the Jedi hypocrits. I pride myself on being a scholar of the galaxy and its many sentient bodies. If I am not mistaken, the Jedi are not to employ the tricks of their enemies. Common thieves and the Sith are those who steal from others. Using their same tactics makes you no better than them. You are supposed to hold yourselves to a higher moral ground. To use only good and moral actions to achieve peace in the galaxy. I myself find this a sickening philosophy, yet you are the ones who chose it. And you are also the ones who continue to turn from it, and then try to go back to preaching it. I am not saying that all the Jedi are like this. But many of your numbers are. And the rest of you that are not, you normally turn a blind eye. The galaxy at large does not support you. At the most they attempt to use you. When one of your number commits an act such as this, they begin to hate you. Out of fear, you turn a blind eye, and cower within your peaceful teachings. I am a man of honor and principle. While I do not agree with Jedi philosophy, I do expect them to follow it accordingly, just as I follow mine. I would hope that the Jedi Council is actually looking into this matter and that they will actually deal with it accordingly. One of your number has broken your code, no matter what his, or your, excuses. If you want the galaxy to support you, then deal with your own hypocrisy.
The Sith are the true evil in the galaxy. They devote their entire lives to the domination of the galaxy and its sentients. They crave only power. They use any means to this end. They steal, they destroy, they murder. But I say this, at least we know where they stand.

People of this galaxy claim it is in turmoil. Perhaps you forgot the large civil war that embroils our galaxy and homeworlds. This is but a byproduct of these desparate times. It has happened many times before, and it will continue to happen. Nothing changes in this galaxy, only those who wield the power.
