Trade Federation Viceroy meets with Jedi Knight
Posted by: Corbin Esco, Trade Federation
Date: Year 0 Day 1 Onboard the L-500 Space Liner TFN Enchantment in system Loronar.
Earlier this morning a ship matching a transponder ID belonging to the Jedi Knight Felix Darque lifted off from the Palace of Forsetti in the heart of Trade Federation territory and immediately made the jump to hyperspace.

According to a statement released by the Viceroy, Jedi Knight Darque was a guest of the Federation and had been on Vinsoth discussing the establishment of a Galactic Theft Relief fund, an offer he initially made to the Rebel Alliance.

The statement goes on to say that the Trade Federation was happy to take on the responsibility, and was confident this would be the next step in solidifying the Federation against the theft and piracy that threatens to destroy the independent trader.

"There are many out there who have been the victims of theft," the Viceroy said in a pre-recorded interview. "Even some governments have lost a ship here and there, but that is not who we're out to help. The Galactic Theft Relief fund is for those in the galaxy that don't have a multi-million dollar company behind them, or don't run their own variation of a government. This fund is for those entrepreneurs who have yet to make their mark on the galaxy; those who could be made or broken by one sour trade."

He goes on to say, "I have always tried to extend the Trade Federation to protect as many individuals as I could, and this is the next logical step. Offering to restore lost funds and file official charges against the parties involved is a major leap towards ending those who would prey on the smaller entities in the galaxy."

When asked about the galaxies view on the Jedi Knight himself, the Viceroy did have a response:

"I'm not here to judge a man, i'm here to promote an idea."

Any person or species who feels they have been wronged in a trade involving less then 1 million credits should send a message to viceroy@swctradefederation.com to launch an official investigation into the matter.

If found guilty, the theiving party will have a galactic bounty placed on their head and the and all assets said party had stolen will be returned.
