Teniel Djo becomes second in command!
Posted by: Teniel Djo, Eidola
Date: Year 5 Day 184 Onboard the YT-510 Gr
Recently a number of factions have taken an interest in hiring this well-known criminal, to their own demise. Infinite Innovations Incorporated, Aurora Tech Shipbuilding, Haven Recycling and Galactic Transport Services have all seen their entire inventory disappear, within a day of declaring Teniel Djo their second-in-command. This comes on top of her recent slaughter of Malebranche, at which point the few loyal and intelligent members quickly retreated back to their original criminal roots in Eidola. With a long history, dating back to identical well-publicized scams she pulled against Juganoth Mining, Infinite Dark, Universal Network Bank and Nisshutsu Shipyards, these come as little addendums to her audacity.

With only 77 major factions operating in the galaxy, over 10% have declared Teniel Djo a ranking officer and given her access to full privileges in their group in their blinded belief that from this time forward, she would be stealing to the profit, not detriment, of their group. Their greed blinded them, they saw her growing worth and thought they could harness it to their own group and profit, and within a day, each of them had learned a valuable lesson about trusting known criminals.

What makes these last 3 factions, Aurora Tech, Infinite Innovations and Galactic Transport so remarkable, is that with each faction she appears to have used literally identical messages to the leaders, seeming facsimiles of each other, to fool them into believing she wanted to join her criminal talent with either a shipbuilder, an Imperials Weapons manufacturer or a personnel transport group, and within 48 hours of her sending that message, found herself with full privileges in the company, and declared Vice President of GTS, Minister of Commerce of III and Senior Officer of Aurora Tech. The Galactic News Service has since spent great effort trying to track down the leaders of these groups, to see what awful states their groups must have been in to readily accept an infamous criminal into their fold, and further, to declare her second-in-command. No word yet from any of the factions themselves.

In other news, Teniel Djo released a press announcement exclusively to readers of the Galactic News Service yesterday. It read; To any reader of the GNS who does not own a personal ship, nor considers themselves rich by any standards of the galaxy, send a message to "Teniel Djo" (Or Teniel@thepiratethreat.com) and she will do her best to alleviate your financial difficulties

And in other news, the Galactic News Service would like to welcome it's new CEO to the board of directors, "Teniel Djo" will be helping to run this news network in the future, and we look forward to many years of continued service, and to her promises of siphoning her ill-gotten monies into our humble News service, and making us independantly wealthy.
