Opening of the Corporate Alliance
Posted by: Nereus Eruresto, Trade Federation
Date: Year 5 Day 305 Onboard the XL-7000 Battleship TFN Integrity in system Vinsoth.
You hear a beep coming from your datapad. When you acknowledge the beep the screen fades in to show the logo of the Corporate
Alliance hand woven into a beautiful tapesty hanging across the screen. Slowly the camera moves back to take in the rest of the
room, below the wall hanging stands a Devaronian with a sparkling smile and a glint in his eyes. It is obvious that he is excited
to be there standing behind a podium made of the darkest wood available throughout the galaxy.

As the camera continues to move backward, into view comes a crowd of media types eagerly snapping pictures and the sound fades in to
hear all the jorunalists looking to get the Devaronian to answer their questions first.

The Devaronian raises his hands and finally, after several minutes the crowd settles down and each takes their seat.

"Today marks the start of a great and prosperous Era in the galaxy as we know it. You all have known me for many months as Horley
Cyan the leader of Outrider Trading. Today I come before you not as that leader but as a Devaronian with a great new venture. I
have decided to take my leave of Outrider Trading. After long negotiations with the Novatech Corporation, the owner of Outrider
Trading, we have come to an agreeable compensation package for all the work and profits I have brought them.

With that I have left Outrider Trading in seearch of greater opportunities, and in that search I have found the perfect place to
utilize my talents both for myself and the greater good of the entire galaxy. That place is within the Trade Federation Government
and thus the CIS.

We have discussed at length where the best place for me is in their government and have mutally agreed upon a new nationalized
faction called Corporate Alliance. The Corporate Alliance will be slowly taking over the trading duties of all the nationalized
Trade Federation factions. We will be busy helping each interested party through out the galaxy receive the items that they are
eager to purchase, everything from vehicles, ships, items, and even the raw materials to build your own such items.

The Corporate Alliance team has been well received into it's new role within the Trade Federation, and we will up hold the same
standards and policies they worked so hard to create.

In the near future there will be several exciting announcements coming out of the Corporate Alliance Headquarters but until that day
comes, no questions will be taken at this time, seeing as there is still so much work to do and only so much time in each day, but a
lot of information about this new faction can be found on our holosite at:
http://www.geocities.com/orcaboy679/corporatealliance/ca_index.htm .
I thank you all for coming out and I wish you all safe jounerys home."

The crowd jumped up almost silumtaneously and the noise level reached its greatest height due to all the journalists eager to get
answers to their questions about the new Corporate Alliance.

Horley Cyan heads off stage with a wave and a smile and then the camera returns to slowly focusing on to the Corporate Alliance logo
and then fades to black.
