Tragic news today from the peaceful planet of Mon Calamari. GNS has learnt of a terrorist attack on the planet, in which copious amounts of Mon Calamari Nerveshock has been introduced into the atmosphere. The bioagent was an advanced strain of the disease and affected hundreds of thousands Calamari before immunisation could be administered.



Controlling government of Mon Calamari, the Tenloss Syndicate released a brief statement today. "The tragedy that occurred here was no more than a cowardly act. The sentients of Mon Calamari are a peaceful kind, and did not deserve this. This kind of terrorism is unspeakable and just goes to show that the outer regions of the galaxy are just as prone to random attacks as the core worlds. My heart goes out to all affected sentients, Mon Calamari and Quarren alike. Care packages for distraught families and increased immunisation programs are being setup in every city. That statement was released from the Leukish earlier today.



GNS has also learnt that the Tenloss Syndicate has outsourced and hired security factions for protection as the wave of disease continues to spread. Intelligence operatives are also working in conjunction with the security forces to try and resolve the origin of the attacks and the people responsible.
