Panic erupted earlier today when a transmission was hacked into the Mon Cal Regional Holonetwork. The message, clearly stated to be the terrorists behind the attack, but concealed themselves in shadows, with voices the primary communication, rather than visual.



Security forces are currently working on the holovid to determine if any clues may lead to the apprehension on the terrorists.



Governing representatives in the region urge all beings of the planet who have not yet been vaccinated to do so promptly to ensure the disease is contained and expelled. It is estimated that at least 15% of the remaining population has still not registered for immunization, which could lead to unnecessary deaths if not treated immediately.



Mon Calamari is slowly overcoming the devastating effects of the fatal toxin released in the atmosphere recently. GNS resources have estimated the Mon Calamari incident death toll at well over 40% of the planet now. Immunisation programs are running at full capacity, with offworlders of non Mon Cal or Quarren backgrounds being brought in to administer the antidote to the Calamari and Quarren. The system has been closed however to all incoming public traffic, quarantine now fully in effect.
