***A strange symbol appears on your viewer, a red disk with a large leaf piercing its center. As you wonder what this means, it is replaced by a view of a mid-age male wearing a simple uniform with one single insignia on its shoulder. As you strain to make out his face from the darkness that surrounds him, you notice that the insignia is the mark of the Mandalore Warrior Eminence. The man leans forward so that his face fully appears, and you can see the numerous scars and burns that are proudly worn by him, the most prominent being a huge scar running down the left side of his face.

He begins to speak in low tone that both commands respect and forces you to lean forward, closer to the holovision to hear.***

"Greetings, I come before you today to talk some about the recent events in the outer-rim. As you all might have noticed have parts of the rim fallen to pirate control. The small local goverments do not have enough military power to take on the pirate threats by themself and need help to survive.

The question is were would this help come from? The main powers of the galaxy are occupied elsewhere and do not bother about the smaller goverments or kingdoms. That means it will be up to the paramilitary organizations to offer their services to any unprotected goverments and civilian organizations. A wise man once said that Let him who desires peace prepare for war. What does that really mean. A simple interpretation could be that once war is upon you, then its to late to prepare for war. A strong military and strong defences is the best way to discourage attacks.

You might also have seen the series of messages thats been transmitted over the last few weeks on the Galactic News Service. They talk about chaos and terrorists, about resistance and disappearances. They are just another piece of the puzzel indicating that the galaxy is unsecure and in turmoil. The best protection against that is to be prepared.

***The face is once again replaced with the word Mandalore and the symbol of the group, and then the holovid you were watching snaps to a single line of white electrons, turning off then fades to black.***
