Eidola sweeps up the remnants of Xucphra Corp
Hacked by: Naos Grilmor, Eidola
Date: Year 6 Day 51 Location Unknown
Today marks another nail in the coffin of the failed Imperial Remnant attempt to create a medical faction to heal their troops lucky enough to return from battles in the Disputed Sectors only badly wounded by the Eidola pirates, rather than dead like so many of their comrades. Eidola Pirates have long held that Xucphra Corporation encroached on pirate territory by building their Corporate headquarters over an important pirate burial ground on Anzat.

Numbius, former head of security for the now-defunct medical group, was tracked by Eidola and found to be living a relatively quiet life hiding out on Tandell in the Dolomar sector, escaping justice in a society that was willing to turn a blind eye to his Imperial connections. A marked Eidola ship bearing the name Ranneriffic, in a brazen act of villany, strafed his household twice before landing and the crew of between 6 and 8 persons, stormed the house and seized Numbius, killing him.

Coming on the heels of the Eidolon assassination of Moff, and leader of Xucphra, Victor von Ismay, as well as the suspicious death of replacement leader Logdo Reval assumed to have been the work of Eidola pirates, and the complete plundering of all Xucphra assets several weeks ago, this is indeed a severe blow to Imperial morale on both Thyferra and Anzat, two of the systems the Imperial Remnant still maintains they have firm control of.

What came as a surprise to many people after the murder of Numbius and his household, was the reported link between this Imperial head of security, and the reviled Tad Ekam. While few would suspect that Tad Ekam could possibly be in cahoots with the Imperial Remnant, new evidence has come to light suggesting that Numbius held information on Tad Ekam and the Empire that he revealed shortly before being killed, pasted below is a copy of what the Galactic News Service received this morning.

[Numbius] I was actually dicsiplined [sic] by the Empire for trying to arrange killing Tad Ekam, turns out he was actually an undercover Imperial agent that we were not allowed to kill

It is not clear at this stage whether the Empire set up Tad Ekam and his companion Tobit Ranger to try and outshine Eidola on the crime scale, or whether it was a social experiment gone horribly wrong, however at this point it seems inconsequential what their reasoning was, they proved the adage of the fool and the fool who follows them. Learning that the Remnant stooped to dealing with people like Ekam and Ranger seems to have resonated with several planetary populations, including that of Tandell who this morning had to quell several riots in the capital city over the revelation.
