Emergency Press Conference called on Vinsoth
Posted by: Bren Morgarr, Corporate Alliance
Date: Year 6 Day 61 Onboard the YV-666 Fiery Horn in system Vinsoth (186, 76) on Year 6 Day 60 2:21.
The Screen switches back to a middle-aged woman sporting a somewhat forced grin and clearly reading off an autocue.

"Thankyou John. We'll have more on that terrific story later on. But now, we scan to Vinsoth, where Bren Morgarr, renowned Businessman of the Corporate Alliance has called an emergency press conference."

The screen fades to a press a podium set against the Corporate Alliance backdrop with a CIS Banner adorning the podium itself. Bren steps in from the right hand side of the stage, clutching a piece of paper and walks up to the podium, glances at the sheet before turning to the crowd of reporters.

"Citizens of the Galaxy, Good evening." He speaks with a clear voice into the microphone, with a certain charisma exuding from his persona.

"It is my proud duty to announce that a menace that once plagued the galaxy has been dealt with effectively. As of this moment, Lon Lara is officially dead; The bounty on her head has been paid to those responsible for the killing of this wanted criminal, however there are still a few loose ends to tie up regarding the stolen assets she left behind."

He lets out a grin, momentarily breaking his immaculate facade before returning to his former expression.

"Her body has been ejected into space to let who or whatever person passing to do as they will with. That is all. Good Night."

He nods and moves to exit the way he came. The audience, stunned momentarily by the announcement, rise to ask questions as he leaves the podium. Ignoring their questions, he merely waves to the reporters before exiting the stage. The screen returns to the anchorwoman.

"And now for the shipping forcasts."
