[TH] The quest for the lost pirate vessel - Details announced
Hacked by: Beesto Veers, Enigma
Date: Year 6 Day 66 Location Unknown
Corellia, Year 6 Day 65 --- As the regular readers and viewers of
the GNS will know Enigma has recently asked the galaxy for help to
keep a long lost pirate vessel out of the wrong hands. The time has
now come to reveal more details about this operation.

The Enigma team that was initially send to retrieve the ship was
attacked and it is believed that many of the team members have been
captured or killed. However because of the way an Enigma information
gathering team operates there is still hope that there are
survivors.

Each team creates 'checkpoints' which mark the teams progress,
leaving behind team members as they go. The team members that are
left behind only know the location of the next checkpoint. This way
sort of a chain of agents is formed. If one gets captured only the
next link is in danger, and the rest of the group can't be captured
in one go.

Before the attack on the information team Enigma HQ received a burst
of data from one of the team members. After several days of
intensive analysis of the data it appears that the package holds a
set of coordinates plus control sequences that would give a person
access to a ship. Our experts think it is very likely that this
package holds both the location to the lost vessel and the codes
that are needed to operate it!

However there is a problem. The data package has been encoded using
an advanced cipher created by Enigma. Although the cipher is
breakable it could take several years to do so. By that time it
would probably already be to late as another group of men seems to
be closing in on the ships location.

To access the data package more quickly five codewords are needed.
One of these codewords is kept at the Enigma Broadcasting Center and
every Enigma field agent also has a codeword that can be used in
deciphering the code. So there is still hope, if four of the Enigma
agents can be located and their codewords retrieved, the ship can be
kept out of the wrong hands.

For this reason Enigma have called upon the brave in the galaxy to
assist in retrieving the codewords. The first person to transmit all
five codewords will be given the control sequences and location of
the lost pirate vessel. Enigma also knows the location of the first
agent in the chain, however it is to dangerous to transmit his
location and the first codeword over the GNS.

Therefore the doors of the Enigma broadcasting center will be
opened exactly on day 66 at 0700 hours galactic time. Adventures
will then be asked to report to Ian Cellewan, present in the center,
to submit to a small background check. After that is complete
further instructions will be handed out. The center will remain
open for several weeks, to facilitate any adventures who can not be
present on day 66.

If adventures manage to retrieve codewords then these may be
transmitted to enigma@xrz.nl for individual keywords we can check if
it is indeed a correct one, although it could take up to 48 hours to
process. A complete sequence of five codewords will be faster to

process, the first person to transmit five to enigma@xrz.nl will be
given access to the data package, and can claim the ship for
his/her/other own.

To assist the adventures in their quest a separate section has been
opened on the Enigma holoboards:

Any questions you might have will be answered there and if you wish
to share information with others this can also be done there. Enigma
hopes to welcome many adventures at the broadcasting center, and may
the force be with anyone undertaking this quest.
