     Attempts to cure the "Derra Virus" have quickly turned from failure to catastrophe.  Scientists and doctors working with other contagions in hopes to find a vaccine inadvertently re-released the previously extinct metamorphosis virus into the air.    The metamorphosis virus, which ravaged the human population of the galaxy over a decade ago, once more plagues our galaxy. 

     Early reports claim that humans are no longer the sole carriers of the virus, and that no one is for sure safe.  Officials estimate that with the sheer number of vessels attempting to break the blockade, the virus will reach full galactic pandemic status once more, in a matter of weeks, with it reaching its breaking point in roughly a month, after when the virus' runs its course.

Those inflicted are advised to prepare for the worst, and weigh their options carefully.
