"GNS's Corroi Gintoss is reporting live from aboard the TFN Prosperity, the Trade Federation's XL-7000 flagship located just outside of the Vinsoth System, and gave us a glimpse into the ferocity with which the Federation is proceeding."
The scene changes to that of a tall Corellian man who is standing in an enormous hangar bay surrounded by fighters and support ships. He presses his earpiece tighter to his head, forcing the slender microphone attached to move closer to his mouth to try to help cut out some of the surrounding noise.
"This is the first broadcast from a Federation vessel while it's conducting combat and policing operations." The reporter says. "These fighters behind me are preparing for patrol operations near the Talvar System as part of the Federation's attempt to neutralize the pirate organizations that have taken hold. As of this date, the Prosperity alone has cleared out four known bases of operations, recorded over 10 confirmed capital ship kills, and has stormed and decommissioned over a dozen facilities in connection with the pirate attacks plaguing the area, and there are reportedly three other vessels currently patrolling other areas of the sector as well."
"This battleship is among the best equipped for these type of operations. It has a full compliment Y-Wing Assault Fighters, An entire regiment of battle droids, and four armored divisions of the heavy Armoured Assault Tanks. This impressive array of military hardware, coupled with the CR-110b gunships that are escorting the Prosperity, allows this task force to tackle any opposition local criminal elements can piece together."
The reporter huddles forward a bit grabs a handrail as a pair of Y-Wing fighters shoot past and clear the magnetic containment shield before banking away into
deep space. Once the noise is gone he continues, "As I said, the Trade Federation will begin increasing patrols in the coming days and also increase its presence. The XL-7000s Integrity and Tenacity are finishing up final preparations for extended
deployment while the rest of the ships in the 1st and 2nd Fleets begin to arrange themselves to protect the areas they will be vacating. Exact deployments are, of course, unavailable but the Viceroy has assured us through his representative to the GNS that the Federation will spare no expense in bringing stability and safety to their territory."
