Hyper-Gate Opens New I-BEAM Production Hubs
Posted by: Wynk Waawat, The Legacy of Ithor
Date: Year 24 Day 145 Onboard the Colossal-class Heavy Carrier The Merchantates -TLI- in system Falleen (211, -186).

As the holo springs to life, you see a protocol droid sitting across an interview table from a dark-haired hapan. The caption indicates this is Carlo Constantine, CEO of Hyper-Gate.

Carlo Constantine, CEO of Hyper-Gate “Thank you for joining us, Mr. Constantine.” The droid begins. “Hyper-Gate has only been in business a few months, but has already been making waves in the manufacturing sector. Tell our listeners at home what sets you apart?”

“Hyper-Gate holds the DC to the I-BEAM starfighter, and we’re very proud to offer such a fantastic product. But what sets us apart is our dedication to our clients.” Carlo’s voice is calm, but as he leans forward you can tell he’s holding back a reservoir of excitement. “A solid product, made by people who are willing to go the extra parsec for you – well, that’s what we’re all looking for in a business, isn’t it?”

“Indeed,” continues the protocol droid. “In fact, I understand your shipyards have been running full-steam ahead filling pre-orders, is that right?”

Carlo nods, “It is. Our team has been working tirelessly to meet the demand. We’ve had to open three new production hubs since we started just to keep up.”

Images of custom-made I-BEAMs flicker across the holo.

“When it comes to defensive capabilities, the I-BEAM has more firepower than most fighters, making it an excellent choice for anti-fighter space superiority. For the millions of sentients without the luxury of rare and restricted tech, the I-BEAM is an outstanding choice.”

“What inspired you to start Hyper-Gate and bring the I-BEAM to market in the first place?” the droid asks.

A pained expression flashes across Carlo’s face for just a moment, before being replaced by a smile. “I knew I wanted to make something of myself,” he replies. “Not just be what others expected of me. And I wanted to prove that fairness, honesty, and looking out for my faction family actually can help you get ahead. There’s plenty of crooks and selfish individuals out there, and I wanted people to know you don’t have to be like that to be successful. That’s what drives me, really. I want the way we do business to make the galaxy a better place just as much as our products.”

“Inspiring. And where can sentients go to place their orders?”

Our holosuite is always open. And if they order soon, they can take advantage of special early-bird pricing.”

“Thank you so much for being with us today. Carlo Constantine of Hyper-Gate, everyone!”

The two shake hands as the outro music begins and the holo flickers.
