A Quiet Conquest

Confederacy Fleet

Guavian, Children of the Watch and Skree forces navigate the Ploo asteroid fields during the expansion operation

The Dark Confederacy of the Son-Tuul Pride has expanded its foothold in the Ploo sector, securing two new strategic asteroid fields while galactic powers remained distracted by their own conflicts. This operation showcases the Pride's ability to turn setbacks into opportunities, establishing stronger positions rather than chasing lost ground.

The campaign began after the Invid Order captured a Skree-infested planetoid in the region. Rather than engage in a costly reclaim operation, the Dark Confederacy executed a bold expansion. Guavian Death Gang Warchief Dekard Thorpe stated: "While Morobe remains our stronghold, we stand with our allies when called. The Skree needed new territory - we helped them take it."

Confederacy Base

A newly secured Confederacy outpost near the Ojoster sector junction

Guavian forces led the assault on the first field, with Skree raiders fighting alongside them to secure the position. The Skree have since reinforced their new planetoid with heavy shields and sensor jammers. Simultaneously, Children of the Watch commandos seized a second field near the Ojoster sector junction, creating a forward base for operations against Mandalore's government.

The operation's timing proved impeccable. While Black Sun and Jawa forces negotiated a temporary alliance - motivated by fear of Shadow Dominion interference in their Serroco conflict - the Confederacy moved decisively. While Rebel and Imperial fleets clashed nearby, Guavian, Skree and CotW forces secured their objectives before any opposition could respond.

Notably absent were visible Son-Tuul Pride formations, though unconfirmed reports suggest Pride ships were spotted near Invid space. Whether this indicates future retaliation remains unknown.

The message is clear: where enemies take one outpost, the Dark Confederacy claims entire fields. These new positions don't just compensate for losses - they extend our reach while our opponents remain locked in their petty struggles.
