Inside the Beaztz Grotto station ahead of another Faerytail goverment presentation of the Green Forest Day celebration, the ace pilots of Black Bha`lir bring a renewed look at what a certain indigenous population continues to endure under Imperial rule — specifically under the alleged pixie-dust-smoking King-Father Simkin Dragoneel.
Kashyyyk: Gone are the days of Wroshyr canopy villages. In their place — vast metro plexes.
Thousand-year-old Wroshyr trees - logged. Sacred rituals -forbidden. A home for the living forest - ashes. Nothing but durasteel towers with no windows for any not deemed a top performer. Which is a Wookiee working themselves to their claws are dull. Agreeing to be bald and answer to their government assigned number. Why no fur? We do not know. Whatever it is would not be surprising under that regime.
An entire planetary race forced into years of submission.Things have only grown worse since the last investigative news reports. Yet, Wookiees are encouraged to be thankful they are no longer in the wild. That is because they now have the honour to serve as cogs in the greater Imperial war machine.
To the King-Father this a set up is be loved. Despite the notoriously unstable leader forcing Wookiees to fight one another in order to move up in station. Yes, it is a darker time on this metal rock than before. Everyone from artisans to mercenaries, and women and children, are reminded every day that someone else has it worse.
Do they? Maybe the Dragoneel has it worse, high up hiding in his capital ship, claiming to be warlord who has fought battles none have heard of but all nod in agreement over to receive their credit treats. A lonely life it must be for someone said to lose soldiers regularly because those same payoffs cannot buy loyalty. How does one get on when there is no line between friend or foe?
However be it true or false on the planets Simkin controls, shields are up, until someone can punch a permanent hole in them or orbital bomb the ball— risking the lives of innocents — not much can be done. This story is all so familiar told by counteless rights advocates and rebels.
Until now.
Founding members of Black Bha`lir, both honored as a Prince of the Syndicate (honoured pilots), Arnaud Kuuvaac and Grrrawwk Huurra — a strange-speaking Togorian and a clear-spoken Wookiee — posed as a Faerytale Family employee and a slaver looking for a few servants, only to secretly hire scores of Wookiees. Not only did these two Class-C citizens pass Kashyyyk's shields, they hired thousands of skilled warriors and rescued numerous families right under Faery officials' noses. An embarrassing result for a government that often brags publicly about its top-tier intelligence division.
To make matters worse for Faerytail Family, it is believed the crew bypassed more secure installations on other Imperial worlds, evacuating many more oppressed groups forced into servitude. The rub was the two used Faery identification codes. Big moves some believe were made with force, insisting the crewmen flew in like outlaws. While majority of other witnesses swear they saw droves of barracks soldiers and workers getting on GR-75 heavy freighters quick, as Faerytail enforcers just watched — creating rumors of troopers being bribed to look other way. A few even insist leader Simkin Dragoneel himself gave the access to E-2 ranked Grrrawwk Hurra at the time. The King-Father was unable to be reached for comment, but the public can expect ryll-fueled response in near future.

Now under the protection of Black Bha`lir, an unprecedented number of beings are pledging their life debts to the smuggling outfit which has freed them. While others who were once forced to a life as fodder choose to hire themselves out to combat tyranny and fight for a greater cause.
A conflict far from over. Even with the still active Black Bha`lir pipeline into Kashyyyk, many more species still face near genocide and imprisonment. So, it will take more than this accomplishment to change things, but this is a good start.
This is Black Bha`lir saying: Remember, neutrality is flexible with credits - but anti - slavery beliefs are not.
