For several days already, the Imperial center is bustling with activity to prepare for the first in a series of events to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the Emperors rule.
Honored to be the first to begin the festivities on the actual anniversary, Coruscani officials have strifed to turn the planet-city into one big festival, expecting guests from all over known space.
Cutural exhibitions, balls, festivals and parties will compete with the official celebration at the Imperial palace, open for all subjects just this one time in it's long history. What wil surely be a nightmare for security officials will on the other hand turn out to be the major cultural event in decades - and a unique chance for everybody who can manage to attend to rub shoulders with the High Society of the Galaxy and even meet the Emperor himself - even as the REAL celebration for the members of the vast Imperial military and Administration is rumored to be happening only a couple of days later in a more formal and official way.
But for this one day Coruscant will be a safe haven for everyone who visits as long as he keeps the peace as for the duration of the festivities a general and temporary royal amnestiy will be in effect.
So if you have the means, join the party, who knows if you will ever again have the possibility to enjoy the splendor of Imperial hospitality in such a way.

OOC: This is an open invitation for all members of the Combine to join us at a more or less informal celebration on IRC on Thursday the 15th of April. As long as any animosities are left out the door everyone is cordially invited to attend and to rub shoulders with other gamers - in role but without bad feelings or hostilities.
