The Imperial Ministries of Finance, Business and State have concluded talks with Kuat Drive Yards. Kuat Drive Yards has been commissioned to help build the future of the Empire. It will do so by providing the Imperial Navy with its most prized ships: the Star Destroyer line vessels.

Due to the signing of this exclusive contract, already valued by many a stock broker as being "the Contract of the Galaxy", KDY is now positioned as THE major contractor of the Imperial Navy's hardware.

The Emperor and his staff have declared utmost confidence in KDY's ability to meet the demands of the Navy in these stressing times of rebellion. The Empire, in turn, will make sure that KDY's production will not be hampered by terrorist or rebellious activities.
