Hello Combine, it is I, your resident birb. I come bearing a few updates for you all! Some good, some bad, and some you likely might not care about!

First off, we'd like to offer an update on what happened in the Bright Jewel system. Many of you no doubt saw the GNS flash news about what happened on the planet Wynkahthu today and are wondering what happened. The Bright Jewel Sector and System within which this planet resides were originally created during the GalFest event. The system contains 3 moons, which were given out as prizes after the event. Original intentions were that the moons could be built up by the winners, but that the sector and system would remain quest owned and controlled. We thought we had enough flats to ensure that would never happen, but somehow it did, and went unnoticed, especially after Baugrems' resignation. As such, the system was built up, and once we noticed, we decided to take action, placing enough slabs on the planet to regain control of the sector/system in a manner which will forever prevent anyone from taking control away. The decision to take back control was not made lightly. We understand the hard work that went into building up the system, and can appreciate those who did so. Ultimately, the system will remain owned by Quests due to an active quest taking place in the system. It is important to SWC Staff that these areas remain a safe place for all who wish to take part in quests, and while we do not suspect ill intentions for those parties currently residing in Bright Jewel, it is not a chance we are willing to take. We have allowed any stations built above moons to remain in place, but have teleported all other stations out of the system to a location of their owner's choices. The SWC Administration understands the frustration that this change brings, and we thank those involved for cooperating with the decision.

Next, I'd like to share some news that I've opened a thread in the Work for CPs forum. I'll be overseeing another Room Map CP Bounty. Please visit the thread to find out more information, and let us know if you have any questions.
