In the crowded government houses situated in the Hevvrol Sector, Senators worked late into the night to draft and approve some groundbreaking legislation. Two senators, Siejo Kutol of Corporate Alliance and Samuel Ashen of Andromeda Security entered into a series of intense negations. The result of which was the combining of the CIS and Andromeda security companies to further strengthen the Confederacy. With the addition and support of other Confederate members such as HawkBats, BlasTech Industries, Hoersch-Kessel Driveyards, Horizon Corporation, Universal Network Bank, Galactic Medical, Haven Corporation, and more; The stage was set for the rebirth of the Confederacy from its shattered remnant past.
Siejo Kutol, Chief Diplomat and Senator, released this brief statement to the press. "The Confederacy of Independent Systems has always stood for freedom and independence. Long ago, I was a member of the CIS during its time with the Trade Federation. Those were some of the best years of my life. Its departure from the galactic scene was personally devastating for me, and, after being appointed Chief Magistrate of the Corporate Alliance, I swore to do whatever it takes to one day bring it back to the Galaxy. Over the past year, several groups from the Confederacy of old untied together to chase that dream. Today, we officially declare Independence for the people of the Hevroll and Mondress Sectors."
Other Confederate leaders were also made available for comment after the announcement was made. Senator Samuel Ashen, of the Andromeda Corporation stated, "This is a proud day for the Confederacy, and we have all worked diligently to come this far. Andromeda is proud to be here, and proud to stand united with our allies." Supreme Commander Echuu Shen-Jon, who aided in the coordination efforts of the change, released this brief statement."The Confederacy stands united under one banner, one constitution. 12 Independent groups, as a beacon of hope to any Corporation that wishes to be part of something bigger, without the sacrifice of losing their independence and neutrality.
