I'm Katherine Fallstein with TriNebulon News. We apologize for interrupting our scheduled broadcasting for this evening, but important events are taking place that must be addressed.

Earlier today, the once leader of Gree Trade Authority had his people announce the hostile takeover of the Gree System by the once criminal empire turned Imperial Union member Black Sun. While this broadcast seems innocent enough, confirming mistakes were made that allowed the Gree Authoritative Forces to be dismantled by Black Sun operatives, the underlying message was clear: O`Cuinn and the Resistance negotiate with terrorists against the Galactic Alliance's will.

While we do not condone the actions of Black Sun or the Imperial Union, certainly when lives are put at risk, we have to dispute the claims that O`Cuinn has made based off of our own research into the situation and our own people on the ground. After all, it is a well-known fact that we are indeed headquartered in the Gree System and had a ground view of the "fiasco".

Our own reporters were on the scene as power transitioned to Black Sun and they had a very different account of the events that transpired on the surface of the once beautiful planet. While there was an abundant number of Black Sun and Imperial Union militants on the planet there was no violence used nor fire exchanged during the entire incident. The Gree Authoritative Forces were ordered to immediately lay down their weapons and surrender to the Imperial Union forces. Gree Authoritative Forces complied without hesitation, dropping all of their weapons on spot without question as Greetians cheered.

A mildly attractive Greetian being interviewed in her penthouse apartment. "I heard nary a bolt fired by any Black Sun troops. The only people that weren't cheering were Galactic Alliance citizens, but only because they were being forced out of their homes. A truly sad day for them, but an uneventful day for those that are neutral or citizens of the Imperial Union."

There was little to no resistance displayed during the event. The people of Gree were excited to be back under the rule of Black Sun and were even seen mocking Gree Authoritative Forces in the open. However, the population kept its cool and absolutely no violence erupted. Outside of citizens that were not aligned with the Imperial Union, no evacuations of the planet took place.

The people on Gree were frustrated with the rule of the Gree Trade Authority and its treatment of the planet they so dearly loved. Between absolute disregard of the planet's environment and the health of its people, Gree Trade Authority kept pumping its atmosphere full of toxic gasses. These toxic gasses came from the many breweries that could be found across the planet as many Greetians had turned to alcohols due to the impoverished state that Gree Trade Authority had left the planet in.

This as well leads to our next point: the absolutely deplorable business practices Tomas had portrayed prior to his betrayal of the Galactic Alliance. Prior to the transfer of power, Tomas had promised to all Greetian citizens that were loyal to non-Imperial Union governments that their power would stay on, no exceptions. However, this simply was not the case. Upon their takeover of the planet, Black Sun immediately rounded up all Galactic Alliance citizens and deported them from the planet. This lead to a sudden loss in people to operate many power generators on the surface of the planet, as well as a sudden massive decrease in workforce.

To be quite clear, due to the lack of violence and the clear and immediate surrender of Gree Authoritative Forces, we believe that this was a deal arranged between Black Sun and O`Cuinn. While on the surface it might look as if some sort of takeover took place, our research suggests that this was planned from the beginning by O`Cuinn and even the resistance in an attempt to get in the good graces of the Imperial union should the brewing galactic war get violent. We were hoping to get a statement from O`Cuinn, but our attempts at contacting him have failed.

While we wish Tomas the best in his future endeavors, we must ask why he would order his people, his friends, to release such a falsified statement about the current state of Gree and its people. There is nothing more deplorable than those willing to lie to the galaxy just to save face. Black Sun is run by tremendous people. The best people. Trustworthy people. We do not personally support either side of the war here at TriNebulon News, but much like the rest of the Greetian population, we are finally looking up after being long neglected by a government that simply never cared.

This has been a special TriNebulon News broadcast. Thank you for tuning in. We hope you enjoy the rest of tonight's entertainment!
