The Droid Hunt - Te Beskar'ad Oya'karir
Posted by: Gaarurra Madclaw, Mando`ade
Date: Year 23 Day 103 Onboard the Acclamator-class Assault Ship The Krayt Fang in system Tatoo (296, -248).

(MNB) Tatooine, Tatoo – News of the upcoming Jawa-hosted Swap Meet that will be held on the planet of Tatooine has led curious sentients and excited attendees to wonder which events will be occurring at the impending gathering. The presenter of the Droid Hunt was more than happy to address those asking if a hunting event would be taking place.

"Su'cuy, M'um m'aloo, H'chu apenkee, and Greetings prospective hunters, spectators, and approaching Swap Meet attendees! It is I, Rehd Duurgo, Rodian of many abilities but Mandalorian above all else!"

"I stand before you all once again to announce the return of the Droid Hunt. This time the desert sands of Tatooine will be the venue, and we're excited to see which of our competitors will be able to rise to the occasion!"

"We saw Victor O`Cuinn take the champion's trophy at the first Droid Hunt on Champala, and he was followed by Lilith Delcroix, who took the trophy at Yelsain. Will we see one of the previous winners of the event triumph to win the third year of the competition?"

"Perhaps we will instead see a new champion emerge from the flood of Jawa competitors, who are rumoured to be taking part. Will our hunters see how the self-professed 'expert droid wranglers' take the prize with the home advantage?"

"You never know, maybe even one of our regular contenders will surprise you all… Either way, you'll just have to tune in to the event's broadcasts with me and my trusty sidekick, KIXER, to find out."

"The Droid Hunt will take place over four days, split into two halves of two days each. The competition will begin on Year 23 Day 113 and initially run until the end of Year 23 Day 114. It will then pause to allow competitors to enjoy the rest of the Swap Meet's festivities and recommence on Year 23 Day 120, concluding at the end of Year 23 Day 121 – the end date of the Swap Meet itself."

"Contestants will have to capture droids – and only droids! Each day will bring a new special target for our hunters to search the planet for, aiming to capture as many as they possibly can and reap the bonus points on offer."

"As with the previous hunting events, Mando'ade will be providing prizes for First, Second, and Third place finishes and will welcome contributions from any groups or individuals that wish to sponsor this exciting competition."

"Finally, as always, we look forward to seeing our fellow Mandalorians from across the stars take part and show the rest of the galaxy what we're all made of. Oya!"
