While the galaxy’s leading mercenary guild, Ailon Nova Guard, was unable to find the now famous distressed Meridian-class ships in the Tynnani system High Marshal of Ailon Lorenzas Atticus ordered ANG fleet commanders to keep a large task force in Tynnani to eliminate any remaining bandits from the system to ensure all foul-intentioned beings have been completely exterminated.

All of Ailon’s senior members as well as some new recruits have joined them for the mission, which Atticus states “will prepare our powerful forces for the the chaos that is bound to happen, whenever it does, and will increase our value as an effective mercenary unit..” The statement sets forth the difference between Ailon Nova Guard’s objective and that of the other organizations who were simply in the sector to reap the short term benefits of finding and seizing a rare frigate to which, though perhaps valuanbe, would be essentially useless in combat and to which they had no virtuous right to ownership. Honesty is the best policy within ANG, and traitors are treated with imprisonment and unrelenting discipline, if not worse.

Thus far in their military exploits, the elite Guardian pilots have fared well, wrecking several hundred bandit ships without taking one casualty, while honing the techniques that will serve them well in the many upcoming confrontations with rogue elements of the galaxy. The ANG space aces will serve as enforcers of justice for the inner and mid-core sectors of the galactic map as self motivated vigilantes and avengers for hire, to defend the weak or innocent. After this mission, Atticus plans to post Mon Calamari ships in various strategic locations so that the full force of the Guardians can be brought to bear at short notice to any location. Pirates, villains, and terrorists beware, the Guardians are coming for you.
