Mytaranor (FFNN) The galaxy was shocked today as Imperial Union forces launched a massive military assault across Galactic Alliance worlds in the Mid and Outer Rims. Composed of forces from Black Sun(BS) and Tresario Star Kingdom(TSK), a Union invasion was expected to occur in response to the deployment of Resistance forces to free New Republic worlds from Imperial occupation.

One of the first planets to fall was The Jedi Order controlled Ossus and its neighboring inhabited moon, Nerit. These two worlds have been surrounded by Tresario for some time with the Jedi Order defiantly defending the planet with intense commitment. Despite this the Tresarian Navy breached the planetary defences and then the army moved swiftly to capture the command centres and key government infrastructure; bringing the two worlds under effective Tresarian control. Reporters embedded with the Tresarian military have described minimal overall resistance as few Jedi Order forces have been discovered, leading to speculation the Jedi knew of the impending attack and had evacuated much of the Order’s personnel and equipment. What remained of the Order provided stiff resistance, but these isolated elements were overwhelmed by sheer numbers.

The near abandonment of Ossus by the Jedi Order has raised eyebrows among political observers, noting the Order had vowed with a staunch and resolute tone, to never cede the planet of Ossus and to fend off any Imperial Union attacks. Perhaps fortunately for the people of Ossus the Jedi’s words from one High Council means little to the next one. It is expected the Tresarian forces will secure the remaining settlements and cities in the coming days, and remove any residual resistance.

On other fronts, the Tresarian military opened another front in the Tennuutta and Halla sectors, launching invasions into Resistance territory. Heavy fighting in both the Androxia and Colavas systems demonstrated an overcommitment of Resistance forces to fighting the Galactic Empire, as all but desperate attempts to halt the Tresarian advance only resulted in failure. Reinforcements from The Faerytail Family, led by Prince of Mechis Sevk Ill'er, arrived from the nearby Trax sector to secure the last of the despondent fighting and ultimately secured the systems.

In the Outer Rim, two Black Sun forces led by Vigo Thrall Lothbrok and Commander Vitale Cipriani assaulted the Chopani and Camden Sectors in a synchronised invasion designed to overwhelm the Resistance’s defences and prevent reinforcements between the Mid and Outer Rims. According to Vigo Thrall Lothbrok, the Union strategy has worked, allowing Black Sun to secure significant beachheads and control of vital infrastructure on Resistance worlds.

Providing a statement regarding the liberation of the Chopani and Morshdine sectors, Vigo Lothbrok provided an overview: “Thanks to the valiant efforts of our troops and commanders the liberation of the Chopani and Morshdine sectors is assured. With the majority of the resistance forces having been captured or routed, we control these worlds but expect a hard campaign in the coming months to ferret out the last of the Resistance forces which have gone to ground. The battles to date and that will occur in the future have taken a tremendous toll on the cities, infrastructure and citizens of these sectors. Black Sun is committed to aid all those who now celebrate freedom from their former oppressors, and we advise citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the nearest member of the Blades.”

Both the Black Sun and Tresario Governments have begun the process of integrating the newly christened Imperial Union Citizens and restructuring the planetary governance to allow the removal of old corruption and economic failures. The deficiency of the past leadership was made evident as investigations had already begun to reveal deep seeded malfeasance. The future of these planets under the Imperial Union will now enjoy Order, Peace, and Prosperity, the pages turn to a bright new future for many citizens.

With the Northern galactic hemisphere coming under complete control of the Imperial Union, these newly inducted systems into the Union will be given a new lease on life to grow and prosper. This latest conquest has placed a gateway that separates the South from the Northern portion of the Galactic Map. The gateway consists of the Galactic Empire, Tresario Star Kingdom, and The Faerytail Family who are now better able to keep unwanted influences from the Southern regions from polluting the order and prosperity of the North. Territory not under the direct control of the Imperial Union should look forward to reaping the benefits of Union efforts as a decrease of crime and subversion is expected as a tightening of security measures and growing prosperity eventually trickles down to the other systems in the North. All the recent news to this point shows how the Imperial Union has continued to benefit the galaxy as a whole as their continued efforts to Order, Honour, and Prosperity shape the universe.
