Pride Secures Strategic Footholds in Invid Space

"They take one world—we take five. Their ambition is their blindness."

In a stunning display of coordinated tactical strikes, forces aligned with the Son-Tuul Pride have executed Operation Ghost Claw—a multi-pronged counter-offensive resulting in the capture of three additional planetoids in direct response to the Invid Order's recent seizure of a Skree-held field near Serroco. This latest victory brings the Pride coalition's total to five secured planetoids in the ongoing campaign against Invid expansion.

Shadows in the Rock

The operation was launched simultaneously across multiple fronts, capitalizing on the distraction of Rebel-aligned forces still reeling from the aftermath of the Serroco Wars. While the Endor Pact and Rebel coalition remains fixated on the impossible task of pacifying Serroco, allied operatives moved swiftly and silently to claim new strongholds deep within contested and Invid-controlled space. This highlights a crucial strategic reality: while conventional powers fight battles in Serroco, the real war for the Ploo sector is one of territorial control, waged in the shadowy asteroid fields where both the underworld and authoritarian governments vie for dominance.

The Swarm Advances

In the Ploo sector, Skree marauders led the assault, securing one additional planetoid to complement the two previously conquered in operations 47 standard days ago. Deeper within Invid territory, Knights of Ren Inquisitors and Nihil forces spearheaded the capture of two strategically significant planetoids, operating with tactical support from Son-Tuul Pride legionaries. These actions build upon the success of previous joint operations, further expanding the network of shadow strongholds encircling Invid influence.

The newly secured planetoids serve a clear and calculated purpose: to establish a permanent underworld presence aimed at destabilizing Invid supply lines, amplifying piracy operations, and ensuring that the Order's once-secure sectors become hotbeds of shadow activity.

"We have taken position in enemy territory, within the domain of The Invid Order, in direct retaliation for what happened to our Skree brothers. We will settle in the craters of the planetoids near their bases, invisible among the shadows, waiting... The right moment will come. And when it does, there will be no warning. Only fire, ruin, and silence. There is no truce. Only vengeance."

- Cer Killid, Knights of Ren Inquisitor

"By incinerating the Skree's ancestral spawn on Asteroid-26-W-55 and maintaining the blockade to our cryogenics' vault, the Invids have not only terminated over a millennium of isolationist rule by the Matron's Council, but they have also handed our small, exiled band of anarchists the access codes to the bandit armada. The failure to completely eradicate the Skree at its source has only served to spread the infestation further into the galaxy, highlighting the incompetence we have come to expect from the Rebels. We have no alternative but to replace the millions of sentient hosts our larva require to gestate with the colonists and merchants of Ploo. Let the feast begin!"

- Crale Groman, Skree Chieftain

This sweeping maneuver underscores a fundamental strategic failure on the part of both the Rebel Alliance and Mandalorian coalition command. While they pour resources and troops into holding the ungraspable chaos of Serroco, the Pride and its allies strike where they are weakest—and where they least expect.

Serroco cannot be tamed. It can only be endured—or exploited. And as long as the coalition remains obsessed with controlling it, their real losses will only multiply in the shadows.
