The diminutive SP-4 droids were a common sight in the Jedi Archives for a fairly long period; they were favoured for their fast information retrieval skills. Yet now they are extremely rare and it is suspected that the few which do exist are still in the hands of the ancient Jedi Order that first developed them. There has, however, been the odd occasions where these handy little information-specialist droids have come up on the market, briefly, before disappearing into some private collector's stash.
