The cold and toxic atmosphere of Dulvoyinn I prevents anyone from living on the planet with out the unlimited use and immediate acess to a breather and really, really heavy winter clothes.

Dulvoyinn I has not been fully tapped. There are still resources there but mining them is impossible without a re-breather mask, winter clothes and a bio suit. Though not as difficult by today’s standards and advances in that field of technology, it still is a hazardous job to do. Also, there are probably artifacts still left on planet and maybe even the remain of whole cities. Whoever discovered either of these would probably go down in archeological history books as the person who found the “missing link” to a couple century old scientific curiosity.

For now Dulvoyinn I remains a perfect example of what would happen if a race decides to launce missiles against itself. It is unclear if this planet can be saved. In the chaotic time that the galaxy has entered all projects, other than the build up of the military, have been suspended. Both the Empire and Rebel Alliance have shown little interest in this planet. Both because it has no military or strategically value and because it is too difficult to start up or maintain resource extraction.
