Unmub is a small planetoid within the Remles system. Although not an official satellite of the only known planet within the system, Unmub is considered a moon nevertheless. The entire planet is covered in craters resulting from thousands of meteoroid impacts. There is no evidence of water, atmosphere or any other life sustaining necessities. Unmub does hold an important role in the search of the unknown regions.
Unmub is home to an extensive search and discovery sensor station. Capable of keeping track of stars several million light years away, the Omega Sensor Search Station attempts to identify stars with the possibility of planets. Search efforts are then organized, centered on the Unmub moon and sent out about their way. The search station is manned day and night by a crew of 24 working in 4 separate shifts.
Unmub is considered a major discovery as its position in the sector gives it a good view of a large portion of the Unknown Regions. Nevertheless, the planet has very little value either commercially or colony-wise.
