Scientists have theorized, based on the huge, icy trees and frozen plant life, that Eldadalf's climate was once warmer and its terrain much more vibrant. They have studied samples taken from the forests and have deducted that they stopped growing during a sudden drop in temperature that seems to have occurred more than six generations ago. The cause of the sudden drop in temperature has not yet been determined, but is believed to be the fault of the system's weakening sun. The wondrously petrified forests have halted in time and turned blue, but are no less of a beautiful, yet curious, sight to see.
