Description:
Antipose VII is a desert planet with a treacherous air of calmness about it. Seemingly very quiet and still, the desert contains reservoirs of toxic gasses that erupt with no warning beforehand. Due to the density and the content of these gasclouds they float very close to the ground and any movement that stirrs these lethal fumes make them slowly rise up and destroy anything unprotected. There are only a few species known that could sustain themselves without lifesupportsystems. The high temperature, combined with the microscopic sandparticles and the toxic atmosphere makes landing on this planet a hazardous expedition. Remains of machinery found on the surface show such damage by corrosion that a landing party cannot expect a stay of more than a couple of hours before equipment starts to fail.
