Description:
Baratar, in the Lafra system, is basically a hot rock. Its orbit, close to the systems' sun, has made it almost impossible for anything to grow on Baratars' surface. Almost, because close to the poles there some grasslands. That, and the fact that the atmosphere is actually breathable, have given some animal life a chance to evolve, albeit mostly insects, and some desert reptiles.
